GROWING TOMATOES 101

Service Description

This course is 100% dedicated to the growth and maintenance of tomato plants in Southwest Louisiana. You will learn the best varieties and types to grow in our area, proper soil for all methods of growing, what fertilizers to use and when, how to set up stakes and/or trellises for proper support in our unpredictible weather, pruning methods, pest and disease management and when to harvest. Each gardener will receive a rarely-seen micro dwarf tomato plant in a one-gallon fabric grow bag! Starter spring tomato plants will also be available.
